Meet Andreas Loizou
PortfolioBuilt was founded by Andreas Loizou, a property investor who specialises in identifying opportunities where thoughtful structuring can unlock hidden value in residential property.
Andreas began investing in property over six years ago by purchasing run-down houses, refurbishing them, and refinancing the properties to recycle capital into further investments.
After completing several projects, he recognised that some of the most significant value in property could be created not simply through refurbishment, but through restructuring how properties are owned and financed.
This discovery led him to focus on acquiring multi-unit residential buildings, where strategies such as title splitting and portfolio refinancing could unlock long-term value.
Since then, Andreas has completed multiple projects, with properties that have been both sold to realise capital gains and retained to generate long-term rental income.
A Background in Risk management
Alongside his property investment activities, Andreas has spent more than 12 years in risk management at an investment bank.
Working in risk management has shaped the way every property opportunity is approached.
